The Quality Control team at Westwood is committed to Good Manufacturing Practices, and those practices govern every process as they apply to every product, whether drug, cosmetic or household product. We employ rigorous cGMP-certified controls, with strict lot number control, historical samples and extensive documentation—including the generation of Certificates of Analysis to accompany every finished batch of personal care or drug product. Every batch and fill is also tested in-house for microbiological activity to ensure safe and stable products.

Product safety and quality is assured through a program of rigorous internal audits, stability studies, equipment and process validation testing, environmental monitoring, and water quality compliance studies. We feature an in-house analytical laboratory and microbial laboratory for speed in testing ingredients, in-process materials and finished goods.
